Following his post-doctoral training in Ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal (UdeM), Dr. Kalin-Hajdu received two years of training in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive and orbital surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Kalin-Hajdu has been the recipient of numerous academic, teaching and scientific awards: UdeM dean’s honor list, UCSF best resident teacher, best presentation at the ASOPRS Annual Fall Symposium. He has over 25 publications, 20 podium presentations, and has been an invited lecturer at numerous scientific meetings. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (DABO) and fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (FASOPRS). Dr. Kalin-Hajdu is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UdeM. He is a member of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Sainte-Justine Ophthalmology departments, where he operates on both adult and pediatric patients.
